Description

The Nihola Flex Cargo Bike is an ideal transportation choice for carrying wheelchairs. Nihola is known for its easy and predictable handling. The front wheels turn with linkage like a car, so they move independently of the frame. Sophisticated Ackerman steering geometry dramatically improves cornering ability. A hydraulic steering damper provides great steadiness, even at high speeds. You will feel stable and balanced when riding the Nihola due to its low platform which sits below the axles and its inherent stability as a tricycle.

The nihola Flex Cargo Tricycle is specially designed for wheelchairs with a wheelchair ramp that is built into the frame and works with two gas dampers. The transport platform is lower than 8". It is possible to transport wheelchairs up to 26" wide and up to 264 lbs., excluding the rider. The wheelchair is easily secured with a strong tie down strap system that's also used in trains, buses, and cars.
