Description

In most cases, this cane is made of oak, but in rare instances this cane may be made of ash instead of oak. Please write a request into your order if you want the cane to definitely be made of oak. In either case, the type of wood used will be listed on the cane's label.

The Twisted Oak Walking Cane is one of our top sellers, and for good reason! It is created from pure oak, making it extraordinarily strong, and it is finished with an attractive stain -- in brown, red, or tan -- which magnifies its natural beauty and grain pattern.

Once the oak is received into our central Texas location, each piece is meticulously chosen, cut, worked on a router, sanded, and finally sprayed with a protective clear coat lacquer, making it a distinct, attractive walking cane that will be viable for years to come. Each handle is carefully attached to its shaft using a mortise and tenon joint. The mortise and tenon method is an unparalleled joint method known for its unusual strength; it has been used in wood working for centuries.

Each cane comes with a standard rubber ferrule for a firm, secure grip on virtually any surface. Like all of our staffs and canes, the Twisted Oak Walking Cane is handcrafted in the USA using the highest quality wood and time-tested methods.
