The Drive Med-Aire Plus Bariatric system is a 54 in wide powered mattress replacement that combines alternating pressure and low air loss for users up to 1000 lb. It is made for use in the home or a long-term care setting.

A digital control unit offers four cycle times and adjustable comfort settings. Caregiver features include auto-firm, seat inflate, auto-recovery and a lock-out. Its 20 air cells are 10 in deep with a cell-on-cell design that resists bottoming out. Drive says the cells hold air for up to 24 hours during a power outage. Audible and visual alarms cover air pressure, system and power issues, and a CPR valve allows rapid deflation.
