The Ferno Model 71-M is a non-metallic version of the Model 71 basket stretcher, for rescues where electrical hazards are a concern. Its aluminum frame is coated in plastic and fastened with plastic rivets. The brass lifting grommets are left off to keep conductivity low, and the patient restraints close with hook-and-loop instead of metal buckles. Wooden runners help it slide over rough ground.

For professional use by trained rescue personnel.
