The Hoyer Advance from Joerns is a light aluminum floor lift that folds without tools for storage. It can lift from the floor or onto a bed, and its tapered legs fit around large chairs, commodes and wheelchairs.

Patient lifts should be used only by caregivers trained in safe patient handling, with a compatible sling sized for the patient.
