The Drive Bariatric Electric Patient Lift is a home care lift rated for up to 600 lb. A jumbo actuator raises and lowers the patient. If needed, its emergency button switches the lift to manual mode so the caregiver can lower the patient safely.

To charge it, plug the unit in; the battery stays in place. For safety, the lift will not operate while it is plugged in. The base legs open easily and lock in place with a padded shifter handle, and the base is low enough to fit under a bed. The extra-wide coated cradle rotates 360 degrees and has four hook-up points for the sling.
