The Drive Med-Aire 8 in system replaces a standard mattress with powered air cells that provide both alternating pressure and low air loss. It is made for use in the home or a long-term care setting.

The compressor runs 10-minute alternating cycles or can hold a static mode, and the patient weight setting adjusts for comfort. Twenty air cells, 8 in deep, include a pillow section for the head. Individual cells can be removed and replaced. Low-pressure alarms are both audible and visual, and a CPR valve allows rapid deflation.
