The SmartScoot is a lightweight, adjustable folding scooter that fits in the trunk of most cars and in all SUVs and vans. It comes with the scooter, a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, a charger, a removable front basket and a luggage rack. To operate it, riders must be able to stand and walk on their own or with limited help, operate the throttle and brake, keep their balance on inclines, declines and turns, steer, see pedestrians and vehicles, judge speeds, distances and slopes, spot hazards, slow down and wait when needed, get on and off without help, and move the scooter in and out of storage.
