The Seating Matters Atlanta 2™ is a specialist therapeutic chair designed for people at risk of falling, sliding or injury, including individuals living with dementia or vigorous involuntary movements. Its supportive cocoon- like design, SynchroTilt™ integrated tilt and-recline system, pressure-management surfaces and adjustable seating help create a secure, comfortable position while supporting caregivers with transfers, repositioning and day-to-day care.

  • Clinically designed for falls prevention and safer therapeutic seating, with a low centre of gravity created by integrated tilt and recline.
  • Dementia-accredited design: Seating Matters states the Atlanta 2 holds a Class 1A rating from the Dementia Services Development Centre (DSDC) at the University of Stirling.
  • SynchroTilt™ technology integrates tilt and back-angle recline to position the user deeper in the chair and help reduce sliding.
  • Dartex® multi-stretch material is used on patient-contact / weight-bearing surfaces to support pressure redistribution and easier infection-control cleaning.
  • Removable medium-to-high pressure-management memory-foam cushion; alternative Seating Matters cushion options are available.
  • Tool-free adjustable seat depth from 15–19 in (380–480 mm) and five seat-width choices from 16–24 in.
  • Hoist and stand-aid compatible design helps caregivers with transfers.
  • Directional castor improves straight-line manoeuvrability; rear total-lock castors secure the chair when stationary.
  • Available in three lower-limb support configurations to address transport, elevation and positioning needs.
