Description

With the IontoPatch® Medicine Patch, the self-contained, ultra-thin battery technology eliminates the need for any type of external batteries or wires.

The IontoPatch®, along with its SP and STAT counterparts, is prepared by the clinician and applied to the patient in the clinic. Wireless technology allows patients to return to their daily activities or continue with therapy while receiving time-released iontophoresis. The IontoPatch® and IontoPatch® are designed to shut off automatically when the prescribed dose has been administered.

What's more is that the low current of the IontoPatch® eliminates the need for buffering agents. With this unique item, a much higher amount of drugs has been reported in the tissue following IontoPatch's delivery when compared with commercially-buffered electrode delivery.
