Description

Merry Walker's Portable Parallel Bar is designed to assist the wheelchair user in regaining the function of standing from a seated wheelchair position. The device is ideal in keeping Multiple Sclerosis patients mobile. The user rolls his/her wheelchair to the base of the device and stands up holding onto the front cross bar, practicing weight shifting and stepping in place, and then is able to sit down again in the wheelchair parked directly behind them. The Portable Parallel Bar is constructed of black tubular steel, with arch shaped sides, two front cross rails and two bottom rails which place the weight on the floor and anchor the bar to the ground.
